Anticipated start date: July 15, 2024
Expected duration: 8+ months


Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant/Administrator to join their team. The Accountant will be responsible for the management and reporting of financial information, including analysing data, preparing financial reports, budgets, and accounting records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly invoicing
  • Account Payable transactions
  • Accurately account for transactions in the general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and review working papers that support account balances and investigation of any issues
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliation
  • Reconciliation of revenue
  • Analyse accounts and costs for reasonableness and consistency
  • Prepare various analytical and ad-hoc reports
  • Perform month-end and year-end working papers
  • Interacting with our external auditors
  • Any other required administrative duties



  • Business certificate from college or bachelor’s degree in business administration or commerce
  • Currently enrolled or intending to enrol in the CPA professional education program
  • Strong communication skills – excellent writing skills, listens carefully, good presentation skills
  • Computer skills – Advanced MS Excel skills with intermediate skills in other MS office products
  • Result oriented – gets the job done, demonstrates enthusiasm for work, continuously improves
  • Must be Self-starter, detail oriented, deadline driven and quality focused
