Coating inspector – Asker

Introduction

Work Location: Asker or Stavanger
Duration: 06/01/2023 – 05/01/2026

Function

You will be working as Coating inspector together with other colleagues for the project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

  • Review coating procedures wrt meeting Project requirements
  • Ensure supplier coating procedure capture the scope of work
  • Participate at pre-production meetings
  • Visit paint shop at start of their work
  • The objective is to inspect the facilities and review the surface preparation and coating application work and how the work is reported
  • Prepare and issue a report after each visit identifying all inspections points, findings and possible mitigating actions
  • Identify any discrepancies and deviations to the procedure and/or project requirements

Requirements

  • “Fagbrev” within surface protection or documented practical experience from professional coating application work or minimum BSc within materials technology with emphasis on corrosion protection
  • Software skills: Word, Excel
  • Language: English
  • Candidates must be located in Europe or have valid work permit for Norway.
