Commissioning Specialist – Oslo

Introduction

Location: Oslo
Duration: 07/10/2024 – 31/03/2027

Function

  • Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
  • Provide engineering input
  • Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems/equipment, including input to plan.
  • Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
  • Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
  • Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
  • Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
  • Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
  • Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
  • Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
  • Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
  • Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
  • Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
  • Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve compans’s expectations. 
  • Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
  • Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
  • Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on Commissioning plan.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operation. 
  • Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.

Requirements

Education

  • BSc. or MSC in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.

Essential experience and job requirements

  • Experience from NORSOK projects.
  • System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
  • Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems.
  • Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security requirements.
  • Development and Staging IT-L4 and OT-L3 network equipment
  • Staging of FW, DNA and GitHub scripting
  • Staging of network switches for rigg and onboarding in companys Management and Monitoring.
  • Network support – Site Support for all project disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
