Coordinator – QC – Arendal

Function

You will be working as QC Coordinator together with other colleagues in the Valhall project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

  • Coordination of the QC disciplines and QC Inspectors
  • Verify and follow up discipline Subcontractors with regards to quality and documentation of Surface Treatment when required
  • Ensure that deviations are processed according to project routines
  • Customize and maintain governing documentation for the discipline
  • Coordinating the start-up activities related to fabrication and Quality Control
  • Ensure that governing documents, SOW and instructions are received and read
  • Ensure that the project is supplied with right manpower and competency
  • Participate in weekly construction meetings, and QC/QRM meetings with Contractor
  • Ensure that notification system is functional according to ITP
  • Review of Inspection and Test Plans from Contractors
  • Review of subcontractors governing documents and final documentations regarding QC activities
  • Report status on quality within the disciplines including Subcontractors
  • Coordinate the preparation of as built and final documentation
  • Coordinate the preparation of lessons learned and experience transfer
  • Organize and lead QC meetings and other meetings as required
  • Interface and Coordination: Base organization for resources and support, QC/QRM group, Project QRM responsible, Coordinate PAR activities in the project, Coordinate against other areas

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or technician with relevant skills
  • Approximately five years of relevant experience and leadership
  • Surface Treatment experience
  • Surface Inspection experience
  • Oil & Gas project experience
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of Surface/PFP work and requirements
  • Strong co-operation and communication skills
  • Process orientated with a commercial attitude and mind-set
  • Change management skills
  • Creative and systematic
  • Knowledge to applicable project documents, standards, and specifications
  • Good common knowledge towards other disciplines
  • Leadership attitude
  • Previous experience within the company is an advantage
  • Frosio Level II is an advantage
  • Software skills: Microsoft Office, MIPS, PIMS
  • Fluent English and Norwegian required
