Engineering Manager – Nova Scotia

The Engineering Manager that will be responsible for oversight of the project engineering team and ensuring support for all project engineering needs across the various project work streams including Health and Safety, planning, quality, cost, and collaboration with subcontractors

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and achievement of project goals.
• Develop project plans, set engineering milestones, and oversee the execution of engineering activities within established timelines and budgets.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and construction adhere to environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Allocate engineering resources efficiently, including personnel, materials, and budgets, to optimize project outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in clean energy engineering, providing technical guidance and expertise to the project team.
• Identify potential engineering risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure contingency plans are in place to address unexpected challenges.
• Regularly report on the progress of engineering activities, key milestones, and budget status to project leadership and stakeholders.
