Financial Analyst – Halifax, NS


Dovre Group is pleased to present the following opportunity: Financial Analyst. This is a permanent full-time position located in Halifax, NS.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate review and submission of claims to customer and responding to customer queries
  • Assist in creation and review of period end supporting documentation
  • Production of various financial reporting information and reports for internal and external customers on a regular basis
  • Support the project team with queries on cost incurred, booking codes, travel related costs and any ad hoc inquiries
  • Ad hoc analysis, reporting



  • Post-secondary Business degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-5 years of experience within an accounting or financial analytical role
  • Advanced Microsoft Skills
  • Shipbuilding, large project or manufacturing knowledge an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret data
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work well with multiple teams
  • Self-motivated to achieve above average results
  • All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
