HSSEQ Manager – Stord


Location: Stord
Duration: ASAP – 31.10.2023


  • Establish and maintain the project’s HSSEQ Management system and ensure that this is in accordance with contractual and authority requirements.
  • Manage the daily execution of HSSEQ related activities within Scope of Work and Client’s requirements.
  • Ensure that HSSEQ is carried out as a line responsibility.
  • Manage and maintain the project’s HSSEQ functions.
  • Verify by quality audits, reviews, and verifications that the HSSEQ Management system is complete, implemented and functioning as intended in all parts of the project, including subcontractors.
  • Identify critical HSSEQ areas in a proactive manner and review and propose preventive measures.
  • Report non-conformities and initiate and follow up implementation of corrective actions.
  • Participate in Project Manager’s Team and active take part in problem analysis, report and recommend to Project Manager about areas requiring special attention and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and review applicable management procedures prior to implementation.
  • Coordinate the principal enterprise responsibility.
  • Actively contribute to ensure that the interaction between the project management team and the safety delegate organization is constructive and well-functioning.
  • Have an active dialogue and establish formal communication with Client.

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education with 5 – 10 years of relevant experience
  • Software skills required: Microsoft and Synergi
  • Good knowledge of Norwegian and English both verbally and written language.
