Instrument Engineer – Trondheim


Work Location: Trondheim
Duration: As soon as possible – 02/21/2025 


  • Job carding of Instrument installation packages.
  • Provide engineering inputs to job packages.
  • As-builts of supplier drawings and red line mark-ups received from offshore.
  • Report all matters of importance to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager.
  • Ensure responsibility for Quality and HSSE in own projects.
  • Identify changes and provide input to change requests.
  • Conduct offshore surveys, including instrument and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems, layout design, cable calculations, field instrumentation, and valves.
  • Manage technical procurement, prepare MTOs and requisitions, create installation job-cards, provide cross-discipline input, and coordinate with suppliers and clients.


  • Minimum 2 years of offshore experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in written language.
  • Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
  • Experience in supplier coordination, follow-up, and as-builts of tags and drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to perform estimation work and plan activities.
  • Possess relevant education for example Associate Degree, Vocational school, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
