Marine Engineer – Oslo


The Marine Engineers will support the marine team in preparation of ITTs (Invitation to tenders) for one/more of the following joint contract packages for the 1-3 offshore wind projects:

WTG installation vessel charter, Foundation installation vessels, Inter-array cables installation vessels, Export cable installation vessels, Jacket and offshore substation installation vessels and/or Marshalling ports. Currently, the team consists of a marine installation manager for each of the project, and some inhouse engineering resources. The most urgent tasks (2 projects) are ongoing with start-up date asap, with deadline for the SOW, in end of June/July, and QC in August.


General tasks for all ITTs: – Prepare technical scope of work (SOW) for the installation contracts for both projects in line with project expectations, according to company contract format. – Review interface between technical scope of work and other contract appendices, and ensure interface is handled. Call-off options: – Enquiry handling after market has received ITTs. – Contract evaluation – Following ITT processes for later projects – Experience handling from ITT process


  • BSc or MSc within relevant engineering subjects
  • Should have minimum 5 years of work experience with marine installation
  • Documented experience from ITT preparation / answering

Personal qualities: 

  • Strong SSU focus, in personal behavior and in consideration of engineering solutions (safety in design)
  • Strong ability to communicate, analyse and systemize information
  • Good written and oral English skills
  • Commercial mindset
  • A strong team player

Other requirements:

  • Needs to be present in Oslo or potentially Stavanger upon lack of candidates in the Oslo area
