Material Controller Senior – Stavanger

Introduction

Work Location: Stavanger
Contract Period: 18.05.2021 – 31.05.2022

Function

• Ensures the project receives the right materials at the right place and the right time
• Coordinates materials, tools and equipment necessary to perform each job
• Works in close cooperation with all involved parties for planning and follow-up of transport
• Prepares transportation and documentation as well as other necessary documentation related to materials
• Orders and performs follow-up of freight forwarding activities
• Coordinates with warehouse/goods receiver
• Works independently with service-minded proactive approach to internal stakeholders
• Expedites and follows-up goods receipt, shipping and storage for materials
• Performs the logistics coordination role in a manner that contributes to a healthy workplace – without accidents and injuries to people, property or the environment
• Contributes to ensuring that HSEQ requirements are met by the supplier

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Good general data skills. Skilled in excel and knowledge of ERP systems
• IMDG Certificate
• Experience in warehouse, logistics and/or related business
• Preferred:
• NOG 116 – Packing, Shipping and Transport of Cargo certificate
• T1 – T4 Truck certificates

Personal qualities
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Exellent Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken
• Flexible, independent, analytical, systematic and solution-oriented

Travel
• Some travel may occur
