Quality Lead – Moss

Introduction

Location: Moss 
Duration: Asap – 12 months 

Function

  • Demonstrate Leadership for quality and continuous improvement (CI) by personal commitment to Company’s quality and improvements principles contributing to enhance the quality and continuous improvement culture in Moss site.
  • Resources; Team leader responsible for quality resources. Assign resources to tasks. Mentor and ensure performance to expectations and compliance to procedures. Develop competence and skills supporting the strategic directions and Performance teams’ accountability. Follow up team personnel.
  • Focus on driving the quality mindset and agenda in the Moss site organization, including Lessons Learned (capturing and share best practices across projects/locations).
  • Drive Lean deployment as key enabler for waste elimination and CI in projects, at site or in supporting functions.
  • Establish and execute site audit plans addressing key project- and site risks.
  • Facilitate incident investigations leading to identifications of actions for permanent fix of root causes. Ensure processes to verify implementation and effectiveness of actions taken.
  • Drive proactive quality improvement: Monitor KPOs, evaluate audit findings and incident root cause analysis etc. to identify areas of improvement and launch required actions.
  • Cooperate with project quality resources delivering Umbilical projects and include them into relevant meetings.
  • Ensure that we have the Management system, Management reviews etc. as required.
  • Represent Site Quality in client audits.
  • Liase with relevant Performance departments. 
  • Prepare quality input to MOR report for Umbilical Moss.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or other relevant areas.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar quality positions preferably from a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in setting high standards and driving teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Leadership/team management experience.
  • Deep understanding of ISO 9001
  • Experience from improvement positions (Lean, Six Sigma etc.) would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communications skills in English.
  • Customer-focused and self-driven personality with the ability to make decisions independently.
  • High work capacity, drive and engagement for quality with strong people focus
  • Location: Moss Candidates need to have valid work permit in Norway.
