Senior Document Controller – Lysaker


Work Location: Lysaker
Contract Period: ASAP – 6 months


Job purpose
• Ensures that project related documentation is properly captured, cataloged and controlled using project applied systems. When relevant this includes documentation from suppliers as well as for internal product lines.
• Prepares reports and fix identified problems

Job scope and authorities
General description of scope:
• Type of project and complexity of the execution scheme: Multi operating center with complex procedures
• Autonomy: Optimizes solution related to his/her own scope
• May coordinate a small group (up to 5 people) in one operating center with simple procedures

Main accountabilities
• Creates customer records and document numbers as required and prepare documents for transmittal to client according to project specific procedures
• Controls all technical documentation related to department and project activities within contractual requirements and Company procedures (including confidentiality)
• Assists with development, maintenance and improvement of departmental / projects document control work processes
• Handles and registers all outgoing and incoming transmittals according to project document control procedure
• Participates in meetings, as required
• Checks document and transmittal quality according to check list for document control
• Manages supplier documentation
• Analyzes and collects a variety of information for reports
• Support projects in meeting contractual requirements related to document handling per the company`s procedures
• Assist project with planning and follow up on information management activites and documentation status


Must have:
Required knowledge/formal education:
• High school diploma (Professional / Technical diploma preferred)

Required experience:
• 4 years of experience in similar role

Required certificate(s):
• N/A

Required interpersonal skills:
• Professional English
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to evaluate alternatives and make decisions within established procedures
• Ability to identify deviations to set procedures and contribute to problem resolution
• Capable of adapting to changes in processes and systems

Required technical skills and/or problem-solving skills:
• Familiarity with regular software systems (ie. Microsoft Office products, etc)
