Senior Electrical Engineer – Oslo

Function

  • You will be working as Senior Electrical Engineer together with other colleagues in the Klemetsrud FEED – Oslo CCS project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:
  • Design and engineering of cables according to applicable NEK standards and RENblader
  • Cooperate with electrical PRE and electrical system engineer on developing cable sizing philosophy, cable routing and cable design & Calculation
  • Ensure all the electrical part of scope relevant for the modeling to be included in E3D
  • Provide the layout drawings relevant for placement of electrical equipment
  • Providing inputs to Civil on location and arrangement in the technical building
  • Cooperate with PRE on developing supplier vital interface information list (VIIL)
  • Ensure good understanding of all the interfaces and battery limits towards other contractors and reach common understanding with other involved parties
  • Contribute to a safe, positive work environment
  • Ensure good understanding of the scope of work for electrical equipment
  • Good cooperation with Electrical PRE and Electrical system engineer
  • Good cooperation with other disciplines to exchange all the necessary inputs and data to the electrical equipment
  • Coordination with client, other partners / sub-contractor on providing all the data needed with respect to location and layouts
  • Responsible for electrical area design with cable engineering as main activity
  • Report to Electrical Lead all matters of importance, including progress and any change in the scope of work or any deviation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Extensive practical experience
  • Experience and deep knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NEK (and IEC), RENblader, NORSOK
  • Experience and knowledge on FEBDOK and REN-grøft is an advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
  • High level English and Norwegian is a requirement, both written and spoken.
