Senior Engineer Automation – Asker

Duration: 01.06.2023 – 31.12.2024

Function

We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large EPC consisting of new modules and brownfield adaptation on an onshore installation. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within automation engineering in a large international working environment:

Typical tasks include:

  • Develop procedure for SAS design change management
  • Check and verification of SAS design changes
  • Follow-up of SAS supplier’s implementation of design changes
  • Develop procedure for implementation of modifications to existing control systems
  • Coordination of relevant parties wrt quality and schedule
  • Follow-up of SAS supplier wrt implementation of modification scope
  • Perform automation system design, including documentation through System Control Diagrams, SW/HW reports and Functional specifications

Requirements

Required Education:

  • Education Bachelor or Master’s degree
  • Ex course
  • FSE course

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years experience from automation engineering in greenfield projects located on Norwegian
  • Continental Shelf
  • Minimum 4 years experience working with SAS system design in oil & gas EPC projects
  • Additional experience from modification projects is an advantage
  • Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as
  • NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO and IEC
  • Experience and good knowledge of relevant tools, philosophies, standards and guidelines used by client. 
  • (Typically ProCoSys, STID, TR3031, TR3034, TR2258, TR1658 etc.)

Required Qualifications:

  • Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English – Both orally and in writing
  • A natural team player, but possess the ability to work independently
  • Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
  • You are proactive, you have a willingness to learn, you seek advice and share own experiences
  • with others
