Senior Instrument Engineer – Asker

Duration: 19/02/2024 – 31/12/2026


  1. We are looking for a skilled Instrument engineer to work in a feed project consisting of new module and brownfield adaptation on an offshore installation. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within instrumentation in a large international working environment:

Typical tasks include:

  • Field instrumentation and metering solutions and requirements for Feed phase project.
  • Develop philosophies & solutions to the required level
  • Develop strategy, philosophy and design measurement solutions
  • Develop technical specifications and prepare relevant documentation for ITT preparation
  • Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for instrument discipline


Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical College Diploma
  • Ex course (to be renewed every 5 years)
  • Valid FSE course

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years’ Experience from field instrumentation design activities, measurement solutions and principles, including reviews and responsibilities from onshore or offshore green field projects.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of instrumentation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO and IEC
  • Extensive knowledge of instrumentation and metering design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO and IEC

Required Qualifications:

  • Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English – Both orally and in writing
  • Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team
  • Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
  • Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
