Senior Purchaser – Stavanger og Bergen

Introduction

Location: Stavanger og Bergen
Duration: 01/08/2024 – 28/02/2026

Function

  • Preparation of package strategies and inquiry documentation in collaboration with engineering
  • Perform bid clarification meetings and kick-off meetings with suppliers
  • Commercial evaluations and placing of purchase orders and contracts
  • Follow-up to secure delivery within the right timeframe, cost, and quality
  • Professional variation handling
  • Budget, cost and progress reporting
  • Handling of risks, deviations and invoices
  • Secure that all work is executed in accordance with Companys’s work instructions and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Administration, Logistics, Engineering and similar
  • 3-5 years EPCI experience. Right attitude and high commitment may compensate for lack of formal education / relevant work experience.
  • Commercial aware, professional and independent team-player
  • Good oral and written communication skills, Norwegian and English
  • Flexible and positive with good collaboration skills
  • Structured, efficient and willing to change
  • SAP experience with high degree of data discipline is preferred
