Senior Structural Engineer – Stord

Introduction

Work Location: Stord 
Duration: 06/01/2022 – 05/31/2023

Function

  • To be part of a multidiscipline fast track team at site (Stord Yard)
  • To quickly resolve structural site queries with support from engineering team in Oslo. Some travelling to Oslo may be required during the project duration

Requirements

  • Solid structural design experience
  • Yard experience and interfacing with structural fabrication
  • Experienced in structural calculations and analyses, in accordance with NORSOK and Eurocodes
  • Experience working with AKSO systems
  • Skilled on using structural analysis software, STAAD and/or SESAM Genie Practical mind with regards to solving fabrication challenges
  • Experience on using Aveva E3D and/or NavisWorks is desirable
  • Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, but preferably Master in engineering
  • Required SoftWare Skills: Sesam Genie, Staad, Navisworks and Aveva PDMS/E3D
  • Required language skills: good knowledge of English both verbally and written language
