Senior Subsea Engineer – Stavanger

• The Subsea System Engineer is responsible for the system design of SPS and SURF systems. This responsibility applies during all project execution stages (detailed design, engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning and operation).
• The System Engineer shall ensure that:
• System Design is in compliance with basis of design and functional requirements
• System Engineering is completed in accordance with required regulations, codes and standards
• SPS & SURF deliverables are compliant with Operational requirements, including availability targets
• Yggdrasil achieves an optimal system design, and that SPS & SURF elements work well with interfacing entities
• During Execute phase, the System Engineer will:
• Identify and manage cross-system and cross-project domain risks
• Lead engineering review, verification or assurance activities of SSA systems
• Represent SSA in technical review of interfacing system designs
• Participate in structured design review, risk assessment, HAZID, HAZOP, etc.
• Follow up action management from risk assessments and design reviews
• Drive and Communicate leading performance in terms of Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost
• The System Engineer works in close cooperation with SSA, SPS & SURF Package Delivery Leads to:
• Ensure company specifications, functional requirement and experience is incorporated to design, testing and installation
• Facilitate required input and guidelines from company 
• Gather the necessary discipline specific Engineering required from SSA or company, e.g. Flow Assurance, Materials, etc.
• The System Engineer has the mandate to:
• Make decisions on behalf of company within the framework of basis of design, functional requirements and MLC. Decisions outside this framework shall be lifted to the Engineering Manager or Construction Manager.
• Decline or Approve MoCs, Decisions, Deviation Requests, Non-Conformances or similar from an Operator perspective
• With the System Engineer role, the project ensures that :
• One person is responsible for the overall SSA System Design
• SSA have a single point of contact to use for further integration with the wider Project
