Senior Subsea Engineer – Stavanger

The role is responsible for supporting the planning and safe execution of subsea projects with specific focus on the project activities associated with the umbilical and power cables included within the SPS scope

• The role integrate with the SPS team and reports to the Alliance System Integration Lead
• Shall ensure strict adherence to Client and Industry Standards and demonstrate behaviours which promote a safe and environmentally responsible work process and outcome in all aspects of the job.

Main responsibilities and deliverables:

• Accountable for umbilical and power cable technical static and dynamic riser reviews and provision of project engineering assistance to SURF and SPS leads.
• Support delivery of Electrical and Power cable elements within the Traced Heated Pipe in Pipe System packages.
• Support interface engineer on Topsides and SPS interfaces with regards to the umbilical and power cables.
• Provide project engineering support of project elements, and support reporting project cost, schedule, milestones, and risks, along with any other significant metrics of project success.
• Support and perform stakeholder management and risk management, and docus on integration of the safety management system into all aspects of the project and team
• Support and drive continuous improvement across the project, and capture & communicate, as well as identify and apply technical lessons learned and project management best practices.
