Discipline Lead – Scope Management – Stord

Introduction

Work Location: Stord  (can also be lead from other client locations; Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger or Trondheim)
Duration: asap – 31.10.2025

Function

  • Ensure control and status reporting of deliveries.

  • IFC drawings and 3D model information from Engineering partner / subcontractor to fabrication engineering.

  • Job packs and bulk materials from fabrication engineering and MTO respectively, to subcontractors.

  • Responsible for operating PEC (Project Execution Control), MDAP (Multi Discipline Activity Plan) or similar software as the common tool for communication between the stakeholders involved.

  • Establish arenas for direct contact between customer and supplier in the supply chain.

  • Be the one responsible for running regular meetings between the stakeholders.

  • Assist the Site Teams regarding issues and questions not related directly to Material and Fabrication Engineering.

  • Responsible for analyzing technical and schedule consequences of changes and delays for Fabrication Engineering, MTO and Construction.

  • Detailed and multidisciplinary analyses and consequences which will be submitted for decision in Change Board.

  • Implement multidiscipline digital Scope Management tools in projects.

  • Develop user guide and familiarization programs to enable Design Engineering, Fabrication Engineering and Construction sites to make full use of available digital tools.

  • Arrange and follow up engineering deliveries and bulk MTO/material deliveries across the whole EPCI project delivery chain.

  • Evaluate change consequences per discipline and multidiscipline.

  • Project Management and Change Board reporting.

  • The main location is Stord but can be lead from other client locations (Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim).

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from EPCI projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. But if you have relevant experience and the right attitude, we would like to hear from you.

  • Multi discipline knowledge.

  • Experience in use of the project control system MIPS, technical registers and planning systems.

  • Open and direct communication with the ability to develop internal & external relations.

  • Active, pushing, solution oriented and with excellent co-operative skills.

  • Structured and systematic.

  • Proactive, service focused.

  • A team spirit, but at the same time be able to work individually and take responsibility for your own tasks.

  • Software Skills: Office 365, Power BI and MIPS (preferably).

  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbally and written language.
