Field Engineer – Surface Treatment and Insulation – Stavanger
Introduction
Work Location: Stavanger
Duration: As soon as possible – 01/12/2026
Function
Assist the production with solving of technical problems during the execution of building- or installation work at a construction site. Assist the production with interpretation of drawings and job packages.Support Fab.
Engineering with technical documentation and solutions.
Continually strive for good HSSE and quality performance throughout the work.
Seek for continual improvement of work processes and products within own responsibility area.
Contribute to interface up against relevant disciplines, Fab. Eng., planning department and production etc.
Establish and follow up technical queries and seek Construction Friendly solutions.
Inspections/examination of structure before surface treatment
Paint inspection (before, during and after)
Insulations inspection
Enter and close punch in the IT system.
Requirements
Do you have Msc, Bsc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experienceRelevant experience may make up for formal education.
Need experience in the “Architect & HVAC” fields.
Approx. five years relevant experience.
FROSIO inspector level III, certified as NACE coating inspector level III or ICorr inspector level III in surface treatment and insulation.
Available for work in Norway Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
