Dovre Canada Limited is pleased to offer the following opportunity: Project Controls Lead Analyst.
Field Project Controls Lead position on a Industrial Plant Modernization project located in Decatur, IL. 8 or more years of Primavera experience required and prefer previous construction experience.
Function
- Lead level position supporting planning, scheduling, cost analysis, risk assessment, and coordination with client.
- With minimal supervision, is responsible for independently applying advanced project controls techniques and analyses.
- The level may handle commercial issues and may provide leadership and guidance to less experienced project control and project personnel.
- Achieves a high level of forecasting accuracy.
- Proactive in addressing project issues therefore supporting a successful project outcome.
- Addresses contractual requirements related to cost control.
- Leads planning and schedule preparation including startup planning.
- Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control.
- Recognizes critical issues and interfaces.
- Confers with PM team on project execution matters.
- Participates in key risk management discussions.
- Participates in and may lead change management and any potential claims issues.
- Supervises subcontract administration when assigned.
Requirements
- Prefer Master’s degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning and Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor’s degree required with ten years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning and Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
