Function
Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Reporting/Project Engineer to join their team. This project involves dredging services, and they are looking for a candidate who can effectively manage and report on various aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee dredging operations to ensure they are conducted efficiently and safely.
- Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, cost analysis, and resource management.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including owners team, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, providing regular updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Support the project management team with technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct site inspections and audits as required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in dredging or marine construction.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to dredging operations.
- PMP certification is an asset.
