Senior RFO & Intervention Engineering – Lysaker
Introduction
Work Location: Lysaker
Duration: ASAP – 6 months with option for extention
Function
As a Senior Engineer – RFO & Intervention, you will be member of the RFO & Intervention Engineering discipline.
The discipline is responsible for:
• Ready for Operations (RFO) / Pipeline Pre-commissioning (PCO)
o Flooding, Cleaning, Gauging
o Hydrotest
o Flushing and leak testing
o Dewatering
o Umbilical testing
• Tie-ins and disconnections
o Tie-in of Pipelines, Risers, Spools, Flexible Jumpers, Umbilicals and Flying Leads
o Using Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV)
• Seabed intervention
o Subsea Rock Installation (SRI)
o Trenching
o Dredging
You will perform engineering in tenders, studies and projects, and you will go offshore to execute the operations.
Job Description
• Perform RFO, tie-in and/or seabed intervention engineering
• Develop project philosophy for RFO and/or subsea protection design
• Prepare technical documents
• Technical follow up of subcontractors and support to procurement
• Plan and participate in offshore operations on platforms and construction vessels
• Support FEED, study and tendering activities
Requirements
• Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering (BSc or MSc)
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong candidates with less experience will be considered
• You are accurate and have attention to details
• You have good cooperation and communication skills
